Your Role as a Senior Procurement Consultant:
As a Senior Procurement Consultant, you will take the lead in spearheading transformative procurement projects for their diverse client portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing complex projects, focusing on procurement transformations, supplier relationship management (SRM) initiatives, and eProcurement implementations.
- Cultivating strong relationships with global suppliers, offering exciting international travel opportunities.
- Continuously developing your procurement and consulting skills, with a clear rapid career progression path to Principal Consultant and beyond
- Collaborating with a range of Blue-Chip and startup clients, primarily in the Retail, Food & Beverages, and FMCG sectors.
What They're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and characteristics:
- Previous experience in end-to-end procurement, preferably in category management or procurement transformation, ideally within Retail, Food & Beverages, or FMCG industries.
- Familiarity with eProcurement and eSourcing tools is a plus.
- A desire to work in a versatile, generalist role, managing multiple categories and gaining exposure to various industries.
- Demonstrated rapid career progression from an analyst or buyer to a consultant or senior buyer.
- A degree and CIPS certification (preferred but not essential).
- The right to work in the UK without sponsorship requirements.
