** PRESTIGIOUS NEW ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR ROLE IN A GLOBAL CONSULTANCY COMPANY - SUSTAINABLE PROCUREMENT FOCUS **
Associate Sustainable Procurement Director - Global Consultancy - £75,000-£85,000 + bonus and car allowance - UK wide locations inc., London, Manchester, and Birmingham.
My client is an innovative consultancy with a global reach committed to becoming trusted experts in sustainable procurement and is one of few organizations to have verified strategies implemented in accordance with the UN's race to Net Zero Commitment.
This company has a reputation for quality and strives to deliver challenging and highly technical projects to major global clients across the real estate, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors. As Associate Sustainable Procurement Director you will be leading the company efforts to meet social and environmental targets and managing clients' procurement operations.
Role of an Associate Sustainable Procurement Director:
- Operate sustainable procurement management across a variety of projects, enabling clients to progress towards improved environmental, social, and economic outcomes.
- Lead large global transformation programs and manage colleagues working on client projects and commissions.
- Monitor and improve clients' environmental performance to meet key sustainability targets.
- Lead the development of sustainable procurement services across the business and generate sustainable procurement opportunities.
- Operating in a client facing role involving collaborating with senior stakeholders and C-suite.
To be a successful Associate Sustainable Procurement Director:
- Experience with introducing sustainability into end-to-end procurement and have a knowledge of supply chain and contract management inc., risk management and supply chain intelligence.
- Possess a degree related to procurement, supply chain, sustainability, or business management.
- Achieved or working towards level 4 CIPS.
- Have previous procurement consulting experience from either client, contractor, or professional services.
- Experienced in embedding ISO 20400 (sustainable procurement) into procurement operations and have a strong understanding of wider ESG legislative and regulatory environments.
