In your capacity as a procurement consultant, you'll report to a principal Consultant. Your responsibilities will encompass leading client savings initiatives, overseeing tender processes, evaluating opportunities for cost reduction, guiding clients through procurement intricacies, and crafting comprehensive project updates. Building robust client relationships and spotting sales opportunities are pivotal to your success. Additionally, you'll also provide category insight, policy guidance, and procurement expertise. Your contributions will shape this Procurement team's development, enhancing internal methodologies and operations.
Key requirements for this position include:
- Proven procurement experience in either the private or public sector, spanning various indirect categories.
- Demonstrating success in achieving cost saving objectives.
- Previous experience in effectively managing ongoing supplier relationships, driving value from these partnerships.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management, highlighting the ability to cultivate stakeholder relationships.
