Junior buyer for Global pharmaceutical firm/ Competitive salary + bonus and benefits/ Hybrid role London 1x per week

This leading global pharmaceutical firm, created as a joint venture between two market leading global organisations is seeking to hire a driven junior buyer to join their growing procurement team. As a Junior Buyer, your primary role, will involve providing support for the execution of generic pharmaceutical procurement and product activities for both the company and its clients. This role represents an outstanding opportunity to kick start your career within a prominent global enterprise, you will be joining a small and close-knit procurement team that is backed by two global organisations with a joint yearly revenue of nearly 1 trillion dollars.

In the role of Junior buyer for this organisation, you will experience the opportunity to support pharmaceutical procurement, engage in daily bid events and product operations. Your efforts will revolve around enhancing efficiency, project involvement, and seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams. Stakeholder management skills are heavily valued in this procurement position as you'll be playing a pivotal role in establishing strong partnerships with this companies' suppliers, presenting a unique opportunity to have direct influence over this companies' business operations. Key requirements for the procurement role:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent level education
  • Experience in finance/business analysis or product management
  • Proficient stakeholder management skills emphasizing the importance of building and nurturing stakeholder relationships.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, flexible and adaptive to changes in the business.
