• The client is offering the Supply Chain Manager a Salary range of £50 - £58k + Package, discretionary bonus, double matched pension and employee incentive schemes.
• The client has adopted an adaptive and flexible working culture with hybrid working conditions - compressed working fortnight and 2/3 office days per week. The Supply Chain Manager roles can be based out of multiple locations throughout Southern and Western England.

Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities:

The firm are looking for professionals with strong level of commercial & procurement experience and a demonstratable track record of negotiating high value, high risk and complex contracts, negotiating favourable terms & conditions to ensure both cost-savings, timely delivery and risk management.

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will influence the procurement strategy, effectively manage and maintain internal senior stakeholder engagement and foster commercially beneficial supplier relationship management.

The Supply Chain Manager will establish areas to continuously improve the strategic sourcing practices, contract negotiations and supplier performance. Collaborating with C-Suite level stakeholders the Supply Chain Manager will display their competence and strong industry knowledge to influence major procurement decisions across a variety of important Aerospace & Defence Projects.

Required Experience;

• Demonstratable experience of strategic sourcing and managing the end-to-end procurement process. Preferably from an Aerospace & Defence, Manufacturing or Engineering background.
• Proven ability to effectively negotiate, contract manage in order to add value and achieve cost savings for the business.
• Confident communicator, influencer & relationship builder. A professional who is detail orientated by nature and possesses the ability to problem solve and manage strong stakeholder.
• Possess the ability to lead negotiations and manage large bids for strategic procurement activities within an Aerospace & Defence environment.
• CIPS / MCIPS, Degree & SC Clearance all preferable.
