Procurement Consultant for leading procurement consultancy/ London based hybrid role 1x day in office per week/ £45,000 - £55,000 salary.

This leading procurement consultancy, which is prominent in the UK market, is currently searching for the next consultant to join their tight knit procurement team. They are seeking an individual who is ambitious and driven in order to fit in with the other members of this team. Joining this team signifies an opportunity to advance your career within a renowned industry leader in procurement. In this role your main responsibilities will encompass leading clients' savings projects and identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities. Within this procurement team, you will find yourself at the forefront of strategic sourcing, this company have successfully procured nearly £1 billion worth of goods and services for renowned household-name clients, showcasing your potential for meaningful impact and professional growth.

As a member of this team, you will report to a principal consultant, and there's ample room for future career growth. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, from spearheading client savings projects. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients through procurement processes and delivering project updates.

Building robust client relationships and recognizing potential sales opportunities will be essential aspects of your role. Moreover, you'll be responsible for offering category insights, policy guidance, and procurement expertise. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the evolution of our procurement team, enhancing our internal methodologies and operational effectiveness.

Key requirements for this role:

  • Procurement experience within the private or public sector across multiple indirect categories.
  • Prior experience delivering cost saving outcomes.
  • Experience in managing on-going supplier relationships and delivering value through this.
  • Proficient stakeholder management skills emphasizing the importance of building and nurturing stakeholder relationships.
