** EXCITING NEW SENIOR ROLE IN A GLOBAL CONSULTANCY COMPANY - SUSTAINABLE FOCUS**
Senior Procurement Consultant (Sustainability) - London - £55,000-£65,000 + bonus
My client is a leading consultancy based across the UK and globally and is one of the few organizations to have verified strategies implemented in accordance with the UN's race to Net Zero Commitment.
As part of the company's growing Contract Services team, you will be directly involved in Sustainable Procurement, Transformation, Renewables, Digital Procurement and Net Zero Strategies. This exciting new role will place you in a fantastic position to progress your career towards Associate Director and build a high-performing team of your own.
Role of a Senior Procurement Consultant:
- Providing sustainable procurement support across multiple infrastructure and public procurement commissions, enabling clients to move towards environmental and economic outcomes.
- Working on some of the most exciting large-scale projects in the Country to deliver advice on the development of the sustainable procurement service line and marketing requirements of the wider contract services.
- Managing the delivery of both team and wider business targets including contract and commercial modelling, carbon (Co2e) footprint calculations and sustainability metric formulation.
Qualifications of a successful Senior Procurement Consultant:
- Experience with implementing sustainability into end-to-end procurement, supply chain management and contract management.
- Strong understanding of wider ESG legislative and regulatory environments, with experience of various contracts including NEC and JCT.
- The ability to lead and support projects in a strategic procurement environment and preferably have experience working in Defense, Utilities, or Infrastructure sectors.
- Have achieved or is working towards an MCIPS qualification.
