Joining a leading procurement solutions provider specializing in the public sector, the organization actively seeks a dedicated and experienced Public Sector Procurement Specialist to become an integral part of their dynamic team. This role not only offers the flexibility of remote work but also includes fully expensed client visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Applying extensive expertise in public sector procurement to conduct thorough assessments, identify opportunities for cost savings, and devise strategic procurement plans.
- Collaborating closely with clients to develop and implement effective procurement strategies, covering sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
- Serving as a trusted advisor, providing insights on public sector procurement regulations, compliance, and best practices.
- Managing client relationships, ensuring their needs are met, and promptly addressing any challenges.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrating experience in public sector procurement with a proven track record of managing successful procurement projects.
- Possessing in-depth knowledge of public sector procurement regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Exhibiting exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Being highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Demonstrating the ability to work both independently and remotely, with a willingness to undertake client visits as necessary.
- Holding relevant professional certifications in procurement (e.g., CIPS), which are advantageous.
