My client is a globally renowned, market leading Fortune 500 professional services firm who are experiencing unrivalled growth. Subsequently, they are looking to both expand and transform their highly regarded procurement function. They seek a Procurement Manager who is experienced in running high value FM tenders, the successful candidate will possess strong Sourcing, SRM, Negotiation and Contracts Management skills.

Due to ever-increasing budgets and constant expansion in work volume, this professional services powerhouse requires a procurement professional to lead sourcing, supplier performance and contract management activities across their supplier base. The procurement manager's role will be instrumental in ensuring the maximisation of commercial benefit through running tenders, negotiating favourable terms, and ensuring effective contract management across a diverse portfolio of suppliers.

This Procurement Manager position fits within the supplier engagement team and will be responsible for both identifying and prioritising suppliers based on their performance. The successful candidate will be accountable for driving improvements across these preferred supplier agreements and ensuring compliance. Due to the fast paced and complex nature of the role, the successful candidate must be dynamic, adaptable and capable of operating in a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the central sourcing activity and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Analyse and utilise spend data to identify opportunities to achieve cost savings.
  • Take the lead on end-to-end tender activities, from selection to contract award, ensuring compliance.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier engagement, schedule and lead supplier relationship Management (SRM) meetings and ensure stakeholder attendance.
  • Lead cross functional teams to implement and execute the sourcing of key services.
  • Ensure the effective management of supplier performance and the delivery of high service standards across the supply chain.
  • Identify and prioritize suppliers for new Preferred Supplier Agreements to maximize business value. Track supplier activities & benchmarks their performance and progress against goals.

Experience Required:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • CIPS or MCIPS qualified.
  • Demonstratable experience in contract management and end to end sourcing.
  • Experience in leading sourcing activities on a large scale.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Analytical proficiency with a solid understanding of commercial/contract risk.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable with complex problem-solving.
  • Relationship-driven and adaptable under pressure.
