What we’re looking for:

  • Do you have proven experience as a Supplier Relationship Manager or in a relevant supply chain management role?
  • Are you a strong influencer and negotiator able to build and maintain working relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders at all levels to align supplier strategies with overall business objectives?
  • Do you have demonstrable experience monitoring performance of suppliers?
  • Do you have previous working experience in strategy development?
  • Do you hold working knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to supply chain and a familiarity with procurement regulations?
  • Have you previously been able to provide relevant guidance, training and materials to support staff with contract and supplier relationship management?

If so, this role is perfect for you! Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Supplier Relationship Manager on a permanent basis at our Westminster Bridge Road office.

A bit about the role:
As a Supplier Relationship Manager, you will be leading the development of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) across the Group. You'll take ownership of key supplier relationships to ensure a stable and productive supply chain that meets our Groups needs and aligns with our strategic objectives. Some of the key results for the role include:

  • To gain senior leadership buy-in for our approach to SRM factoring in the obligations due under the New Procurement Act 2023.
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key suppliers by fostering open communication, mutual trust and collaboration.
  • Delivery of appropriate guidance, training and materials to support staff with contract and supplier relationship management.
  • Suitable processes and practices implemented.
  • Conduct regular meetings, business reviews and performance evaluations with suppliers to assess their performance, address any issues and identify opportunities for efficiencies.

This role will require a minimum of 1 to 2 days working in the Westminster Bridge Road office.
