HR & Professional Services Senior Procurement Manager - Global Technology Firm

Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 + benefits package

Location: Bedfordshire (hybrid; 2 days per week in the office)


We are currently partnered with a world leading technology firm, who have been setting the way in computing ecosystems, cloud and digital innovation, providing an unparalleled experience to hundreds of business customers all around the world, and operating across multiple markets & industries including automotive, infrastructure and telecoms. With an ever-growing global team of experts across procurement, technology and strategy, and operations in almost 20 countries, they now seek Procurement Manager experienced in HR and/or professional services category spends to oversee and enhance the entire life cycle of procurement deliverables. Your role will encompass shaping their procurement approach, driving commercial value, mitigating risks, and much more on a global scale.

Reporting directly into the Head of Procurement, you will be leading a small team, supporting them in projects across the £300Million HR & Professional Services spend, and taking a hands-on approach to foster a collaborative environment where people can flourish and continue to develop.

You will be based in a state of the art, ultra-modern HQ that offers multiple facilities including a free gym, wellness centre, rooftop terrace and gaming room. This requires you to travel to Bedfordshire twice per week with the rest being home based.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Procurement Manager:

  • Collaborate seamlessly with the Procurement Business Partners to spearhead transformative change projects, elevating the RFP, negotiation, and contracting processes to new heights
  • Drive substantial financial benefits, unlocking impressive cost savings, efficiencies, and added value for the business through the strategic execution of sourcing plans
  • Effectively utilise your expertise in sourcing activities, leading the charge in planning, negotiating, and implementing best practices across the supply chain, accounting for ESG and sustainability agendas
  • Proactively identify opportunities for enhancements in cost-effectiveness, quality, service excellence, and groundbreaking innovation
  • Stay at the forefront of market trends and supply chain dynamics, ensuring a well-informed and dynamic approach to procurement.
  • Foster and cultivate robust working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, delivering regular updates on the progress of your impactful activities.
