Client: Major Utilities Organisation
Role: Consultant & Senior Consultant
Salary: £45-65k + bonus and other benefits
Location: Leeds 1 day a week - client site

About the business: World renowned consultancy specilaising in procurement & supply chain with offices in UK, Europe, Americas and MENA regions (and still growing!) Be part of an award-winning team excelling in optimizing procurement processes, driving cost efficiency, and enhancing overall supply chain performance.
They have a great opportunity to join one of their major utilities clients on a great project which will see you overseeing the whole of the indirect spend for the business. As a Consultant on this project you will contribute to challenging in house projects and make a significant impact on their procurement strategies.
As this is an in-house/Industry type role the career progression opportunities are two-fold; with the option to fully join the Utilities Client or revert back to the Consultancy and experience other clients and projects within the organization (this could also include the opportunity to move abroad to one of their other offices!)
As a Consultant your responsibilities are:
- Conduct comprehensive procurement analysis, identifying improvement areas and cost-saving opportunities within the indirect spend.
- Collaborate with clients to understand unique procurement needs, providing tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with clients' business objectives.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Utilise data-driven insights to optimise procurement operations and enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
The successful candidate will have:
- Good understanding of a range of indirect categories
- Experience working in a fast paced environment wither in an industry role or consultancy
- BA degree or equivalent
