Join a prominent UK sustainability firm experiencing sustained success and actively reinvesting in its top-notch procurement function. In the final stages of a strategic restructuring and transformation, they are in search of a strategic and ambitious procurement professional to fill the role of Category Manager. This role involves spearheading innovation in indirect spend, offering opportunities to take ownership of various categories such as HR, Capex, or Marketing, providing a chance to diversify and broaden category management experience.

As a part of the Centre of Excellence team, you will work across a diverse spend portfolio, reporting directly to the Head of Procurement. Emphasizing Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), ESG/sustainability, and inventive approaches to category management, you will be empowered to introduce new and creative ideas from day one. Your contributions are expected to add significant commercial value to the assigned spend areas, further enhancing the success of this already-recognized and growing brand.

With a growing team and a desire for expansion, this procurement function fosters a dynamic, forward-thinking culture driven by ambitious individuals striving to make a meaningful impact. Depending on your experience, the salary ranges from £50,000-60,000, complemented by an outstanding package, including a generous bonus. Enjoy the flexibility of working from home approximately three days per week, with the option to be based in a modern, state-of-the-art HQ in Leeds for the remaining two days.
