Technology Procurement Buyer Opportunity - £45-50K - Flexible Working - London - Strategic Procurement - IT Category - Leading Law Firm
An exciting opportunity awaits skilled procurement professionals in London. The esteemed in-house Global Procurement team at a leading law firm is seeking a Technology Procurement Buyer. This role offers the chance to drive strategic value, introduce best practices, and manage procurement projects while influencing commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading procurement projects and contributing to strategic decision-making within IT categories.
- Managing stakeholder and supplier relationships throughout procurement and service delivery.
- Taking ownership of categories/projects as necessary and assessing contract risks.
- Ensuring compliance with sourcing processes and ethical standards.
- Conducting supplier performance reviews and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating with service areas to manage supplier relationships and performance.

Experience Required:
- Proven experience in Indirect Procurement, particularly within Technology sub-categories like Software, Telecoms, and IT Professional Services.
- Would consider an indirect generalist that has done an element of IT sourcing.
- Strong track record in end-to-end procurement and supplier management, including RFx processes, market analysis, and oversight.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Experience with procurement systems and tools, coupled with strong analytical abilities.
- CIPS qualification or progress towards it is desirable, along with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
