As a Category Manager, You will play a pivotal role n managing complex tenders and drive commercial value, whilst supporting their commitment to safety, sustainability and CSR.

The role:

As a Category Manager, you will lead the procurement and contract negotiation of goods and services, working closely with the wider procurement team to develop and execute procurement strategies. Your responsibilities will include defining procurement roadmaps, ensuring compliance with regulations, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement and contract negotiation processes, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulations
• Develop procurement roadmaps and tender programs to drive category strategy
• Define specifications and KPIs for key contracts, maximizing value for the business
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop category strategies and run complex tender events
• Provide market insights and analysis to inform strategy development and supplier engagement
• Maintain and PSL and build effective relationships with suppliers

Experience and Qualifications:

• MCIPS qualifies or working towards MCIPS, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in strategic procurement
• Experience in tendering with UCR 2016 and procuring large value tenders across diverse categories
• Track record of delivering cost benefits and improvements, along with strong commercial acumen
