Procurement Consultant - Public Sector

This best-in-class consultancy are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Consultant to join their team, working on public sector projects.

This UK leading consultancy is going through rapid expansion as it takes on transformational projects alongside public sector bodies. With this role, you will have the chance to work alongside established stakeholders within central government departments and build your portfolio whilst working on high-value projects.

Your role:

• Working closely with key public body stakeholders to formulate and deliver innovative procurement strategies, to meet client objectives.
• To ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and standards.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including strategic sourcing, drafting tender documents, contract negotiations, and manager supplier relationships.

Key Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Procurement Consultant, ideally for public sector projects.
• Proven experience in delivering procurement projects within the public sector.
• Strong understanding of public sector procurement regulations and processes, including standard form contracts.
• A degree in a relevant field and a commitment to achieving or currently working towards MCIPS accreditation is desirable
