Location: Berkshire (Hybrid)

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + 10% Bonus + Other Benefits

My client, a global FMCG conglomerate, are going through an exciting period of sustained and consistent growth. Comprising of some of the best-known names in the market, they have established a reputation for procurement excellence and quality services. To support their growth, they are transforming their existing procurement function in the name of efficiency and are keen to take on an ambitious Indirect Procurement Category Manager to drive their push towards best-in-class.

As a Professional Service Procurement Category Manager, you will spearhead their global indirect procurement function across a range of diverse categories - including, but not limited to HR, Professional Services, Legal, Travel, and Recruitment. Your role will be to:

• Identify opportunities for commercial growth through carrying out comprehensive market analyses, and consequently form innovative procurement category strategies.
• Collaborate with pivotal internal stakeholders to classify the company's needs and to garner support for your procurement plans.
• Deliver on a number of traditional procurement activities - including, but not limited to strategic sourcing, tendering, contracting, negotiating, and supplier relationship management.

Indirect Procurement Category Manager requirements:

• Strong Academic background (Degree + CIPS)
• Extensive exposure working as a category manager or similar. This would ideally have been acquired working within a retail or FMCG function, but this is not essential.
• Strong experience across a number of key indirect categories, with emphasis on Professional Services and HR experience.

Procurement candidates must have full rights to work in the UK and be 100% business fluent in English.
