Procurement Consultant for Capital Projects Consultancy - London based - Hybrid - £55,000-£70,000 + package
This UK leading Capital Projects consultancy is looking for a Consultant to join its best-in-class procurement function. Going through rapid expansion and transformation, this firm is expanding its scope within the UK public sector, and it's seeking an experienced procurement professional to join their dynamic team.
Specialising in the Public sector, you will be instrumental in consulting on a number of high-value, capital projects across the UK. You will have the chance to work alongside key stakeholders and clients within Central Government and other public sector bodies. You will grow your portfolio, whilst gaining unparalleled exposure to UK capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with key public body stakeholders to formulate and deliver innovative procurement strategies, to meet client objectives.
- To ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and standards.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including strategic sourcing, drafting tender documents, contract negotiations, and manager supplier relationships.
Key Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Procurement Consultant, and/or have a strong IT background within procurement.
- Must have proven success in delivering or consulting on procurement projects within the public sector.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement regulations and processes, including standard form contracts.
- Must have/ be eligible for Security Clearance.
