Senior IT Procurement Specialist - Construction Consultancy - Bristol 2 days - £55,000-£70,000

This UK leading construction and infrastructure consultancy are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Specialist/ Category Manager to join their dynamic team. Focussing on innovation, this firm needs a Procurement Professional to consult on a key capital project for a Central Government department. This role provides the opportunity to build your portfolio, working on a multi-million pound project, collaborating with established stakeholders and other experts in their field.

Working on key capital projects, this firm takes a transformational approach towards construction, and pledges to be a net-zero firm by 2030. This role requires you to take a strategic approach in bringing your IT software/ hardware expertise whilst adhering to central government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with key public sector stakeholders to develop and implement innovative IT procurement strategies that meet client objectives.
• Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and standards.
• Oversee the entire IT procurement process, including strategic sourcing, drafting tender documents, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience managing IT categories and managing the end to end procurement processes.
• Demonstrated success in delivering or consulting on procurement projects within the public sector, ideally within central government.
• Comprehensive understanding of public sector procurement regulations and processes, including standard form contracts.
• Must have or be eligible for full Security Clearance.
