My client, an FMCG juggernaut with over five decades of dominance in the market, are seeking a Junior Procurement Specialist to join their seasoned team of procurement experts.

As a Junior Procurement Specialist, you will:

• Elevate Procurement Excellence: Provide expert assistance in a range of essential procurement tasks, including sourcing, contracting, supplier relationship management, and award recommendations.

Junior Procurement Specialist requirements:

• Solid experience in procurement, with a preference for FMCG or Retail backgrounds, although this is not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the contracting and tendering process, including drafting, and negotiating. While knowledge of contract law and terminology is beneficial, it's not a prerequisite.
• Strong academic foundation, having studied to A-Level standard and either completed or in pursuit of a CIPS qualification.

This is a hybrid role, where you will be based 3 days a week (or as many more as you prefer) at their headquarters in the West Midlands, and the rest from home.
