Salary: £85,000 + car allowance + bonus + package
Location: UK Hybrid (home based / office and ability to travel Nationwide required)

The Role:
Following a recent transformation plan, they seek an experienced Head of Supplier Relationship Management to join the executive team and oversee supplier relationships for a major, £Multi-billion client. Your role will involve managing a team dedicated to SRM support, reporting, and contract administration, helping you manage suppliers and report on performance. You will create strong oversight and assurance processes, using data-driven insights to monitor emerging issues and risks related to supplier performance, legal or regulatory compliance, due diligence, or financial control.
A key requirement of the role will be to lead the supplier management improvement programme, owning supplier performance, communicating, and embedding new governance in line with procurement best practices. This SRM approach will set targets to deliver additional value from its relationships, building partnerships that yield innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage supplier relationships and contract delivery within key client accounts, building engagement and trust with major client contacts
- Drive team performance to deliver excellent service and push suppliers to excel, using performance scorecards
- Review management information to ensure KPI and SLA compliance, creating standard reporting packs for key supplier relationships
- Lead, coach, and motivate a dedicated supplier management team, developing a culture aligned with company values
- Implement talent management, succession plans, and mandatory training, while consistently applying company policies
- Foster engagement, address underperformance, and recruit team members in line with business strategy
- Positively impact the P&L through effective budget management and delivery of in-life savings
Knowledge and Skills:
- Degree level education or equivalent experience.
- Desired: CIPS qualification.
- Preferred: Experience in FM industry and multi-site environments.
- Strong commercial and supplier management skills.
- Ability to lead and manage team performance.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strategic and commercial acumen.
