Job Title: Buyer

Location: Cucciago (CO)

Buyer is the figure dedicated to supporting the purchasing process of commercial materials, with a view to optimising stocks and reducing costs.
The Buyer contributes to the management of the company's purchases, evaluates and compares the suppliers' proposals according to the various established parameters, verifying compliance with the agreements according to the stipulated contract.Responsibilities
  • Manage the purchasing process with regard to Suppliers and/or materials assigned to him;
  • support the reference Purchasing Manager in defining and managing framework agreements with Partner Suppliers in Italian and English.

  • Analysis of purchase requests and management of offer requests to Suppliers;
  • release of purchase orders, after checking the correctness and completeness of the necessary commercial information; analysis and recording of supplier order confirmations;
  • analysis and registration of supplier order confirmations;
  • interaction and collaboration with all 'internal supplier-customers', i.e. with the functions involved in the procurement process, in particular: production planning, production, reception/warehouse, quality, administration;
  • management of any non-conformities found on materials supplied and 'vendor rating'; drafting of proposals to improve the performance of the supplier base and their implementation and monitoring.

Must have
  • Bachelor's degree in technical or economic disciplines;
  • 2/4 years' experience in the purchasing department of modern, organised companies;
  • good knowledge of the English language (level B2);
  • basic knowledge of production management and planning processes and quality management;
  • excellent interpersonal skills;
  • continuity of commitment and proactivity;
  • ability to work methodically, maintaining a high level of order and operational precision.

Nice to have
  • Practical knowledge of IT tools (ERP/SAP) useful for managing the following areas in an integrated way: procurement, collaboration in the logistics-production chain, planning and production, operational management of the warehouse, optimization of transport.
