Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect goods and services, including IT, facilities, and professional services.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new suppliers, products, and services that meet the organization's needs.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure continuous improvement in quality, cost, and delivery
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to payment.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best possible value for the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in procurement.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices in procurement to drive operational excellence.
Key Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in indirect procurement, preferably within the retail or FMCG sector.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
