The Role
As a Commercial Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Reporting to the framework director, undertaking and supporting the Nuclear Technical Services Provider (NTSP) framework.
Day-to-day, you'll be supporting the NTSP framework, that is supporting the Clyde Infrastructure Programme (CIP) and wider Royal Navy and defence requirements. Its primary focus will be on delivering the refurbishment and upgrade of critical infrastructure at HMNB Clyde.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office / onsite and 3 days working from home.
Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. We are happy to consider flexible, blended working, including part-time, condensed hours, and job sharing. Please ask about alternative patterns of work at interview.
Essential Experience of the Commercial Manager:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Further details are available at United Kingdom Security Vetting: clearance levels - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk).

Essential Experience of the Commercial Manager:
- Varied experience of large and complex construction projects.
- Relevant successful experience of provision of QS services in a large project environment.
- Understanding of project management, planning risk, and investment processes.
- Knowledge of civils infrastructure and construction industry conditions of contract.
- Experience with NEC forms of contract
- Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status is desirable but, not essential.
