Key Purpose
- To play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective procurement of goods and services while prioritising efficiency savings.
- Your procurement expertise along with your ability to deliver sustainable and social value solutions, will contribute to our organisation's success in delivering quality healthcare services.
- To lead and take responsibility for a delegated category or categories in the corporate, commercial and technology services team having a value of 20 - 30 million pounds of annual expenditure and be an active ambassador for KFM.
- To foster professional and responsive client services and act as the key point of contact.
- Implement strategic sourcing and strengthen stakeholder engagement to drive efficiencies and strengthen existing relationships with key suppliers.
- Review and negotiate contracts for cost optimisation and deliver savings targets to support the cost improvement programme.
- Implement change and support staff to enhance their procurement expertise and capability.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement category strategies to optimize value and innovation.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes within the assigned categories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
- Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Professional Standards
