Food Procurement Manager / Best-in-Class Global Food Organisation / Birmingham / Flexible Working / Rapid Progression / £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits inc. Bonus
This best-in-class food organisation is experiencing continued year-on-year success globally and is therefore seeking a passionate strategic procurement professional to join the growing team and lead high-profile procurement projects. You will be working within an established procurement function, but it's not an organisation that's stuck in its ways, so you'll be encouraged to undertake continuous improvement and revitalise procurement strategy to ensure its best practice; you have the ability to imprint your procurement approach.

Food Procurement Manager responsibilities…
- Drive innovative procurement strategy across the end-to-end procurement function in relation to diverse food procurement categories as well as some beverage procurement
- Utilise a range of strategic procurement tools and techniques through continuous improvement to implement best practice procurement strategy and procurement procedures across the end-to-end food procurement function
- Undertake a range of day-to-day procurement activities, from category management strategy and transformation to negotiation and contract management
Food Procurement Manager requirements…
- Ability to demonstrate success across the end-to-end procurement function, ideally with key expertise within the food procurement space.
- Strong skills in stakeholder relationship management, category management, and negotiation.
