This FTSE 100 powerhouse are investing more than £2 billion in a revolutionary transformation project designed to protect their market-leading status for years to come. At the heart of their organisation and the centre of this transformation sits the IT/Technology procurement function.

My client is taking on multiple IT/Technology Procurement Managers to spearhead their new function, delivering procurement excellence and ensuring a smooth and consistent transition. Your role will be to:

  • Deliver innovative procurement category strategies to deliver immediate commercial success and support their 3-year growth plan.
  • Carry out market analyses to identify opportunities for marginal growth.
  • Collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to identify the needs to the business and garner support for your procurement plans
  • Lead a team, helping to mentor and foster a best-in-class procurement function.
  • Deliver on a number of traditional procurement activities - including, but not limited to Strategic Sourcing, Tendering, Contracting, Negotiating, and Supplier Relationship Management.

A strong IT/Technology Procurement background is ESSENTIAL. This would ideally include experience across a range of IT Sub-Categories. You must also possess a strong academic background, having obtained a degree. A CIPS qualification would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
