In recent years, the food and beverage market has experienced remarkable and consistent growth, and my client has been at the forefront, seizing every opportunity. This global FMCG powerhouse, renowned for its iconic brands, is on an ambitious path to expand its portfolio even further. As part of an exhilarating transformation project, they are committed to elevating the quality of their procurement function and internal processes.

A pivotal element of this initiative is building a robust foundation within their indirect procurement team. To lead this charge, they are on the hunt for a dynamic Procurement Category Manager to elevate their Professional Services function to best-in-class.

As a Procurement Category Manager, you will take the helm of the end-to-end procurement function for Professional Services, overseeing a diverse array of sub-categories such as HR, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Travel, and Recruitment. Your role will be to:

  • Identify Opportunities for Growth: Unleash your strategic prowess by conducting comprehensive market analyses to uncover commercial growth opportunities and craft innovative procurement category strategies.
  • Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Partner with influential internal stakeholders to accurately assess company needs and secure enthusiastic support for your visionary procurement plans.
  • Execute Essential Procurement Activities: Excel in traditional procurement responsibilities, including strategic sourcing, tendering, contracting, negotiating, and supplier relationship management, to drive outstanding results.

Indirect Procurement Category Manager requirements:

  • Strong Academic background (Degree + CIPS)
  • Good exposure to the end-to-end procurement activities within the Professional Services category. This would ideally have been acquired working within a retail or FMCG function, but this is not essential.

Procurement candidates must have full rights to work in the UK and be 100% business fluent in English.

For more information, please e-mail through an up-to-date copy of your CV to Jack at jobsJB@bramwithconsulting.co.uk.
