Strategic Technology Buyer - FTSE 100 Award Winning Procurement Function
Salary: £45-55,000 plus bonus and package
Location: Hybrid options with offices Nationwide (London, Birmingham, Manchester, and more)
This prestigious £Multi-Billion FTSE-100 FMCG firm are enjoying continued success and are frequently re-investing into their award-winning procurement function. They now seek a Strategic Buyer to come on board and engage with procurement across IT & Digital. With a total spend in the £Multi Billions, procurement has fantastic buy-in across the whole organisation, meaning that you get excellent support from the senior leadership team to drive forward strategy and implement change across IT.
You will be operating across multiple projects within technology software and services, and it will be your job to ensure that you are strategically enhancing the firms' current processes in line with their commercial goals. After an award-winning Procurement Transformation in 2020, this firm now have a huge focus on not only cost savings, but sustainability, market analysis, and innovation, meaning there is an endless scope for you to push the boundaries and achieve commercial excellence in procurement.
Also award winning for their progression and people development programme, this firm seeks hungry, ambitious individuals who hold themselves to a high standard in line with their best-in-class reputation. You will be encouraged to think about your long-term career plans within procurement from day one, and can expect a promotion within 12-18 months to your next position, whether that is upwards progression within the IT team, or into another specialised category such as FM, Marketing or Professional Services. They are fast paced and highly collaborative in nature, so you will thrive in this setting if you enjoy a challenging, dynamic environment that prides itself upon innovation and being at the forefront of the procurement industry.
This unique opportunity will look at candidates coming from either a generalist or IT Sourcing or Procurement background.
