Working within a procurement consultancy enables you to lead and support on diverse high-profile public procurement projects across differing public environments, from the government and councils to the NHS and transport, where you'll operate across all indirect procurement categories on a strategic basis. You will accelerate your procurement abilities by gaining diverse industry and category exposure all within one position and have the opportunity to rapidly progress which is facilitated by clear objectives and 6-month reviews.

Public Procurement Consultant responsibilities…

• Support and lead on various high-profile public procurement client projects in relation to strategic indirect procurement, covering a generalist range of subcategories including IT procurement, Professional Services procurement and Facilities procurement
• Ensure excellent stakeholder relationship management by building a strong rapport with different clients to understand their requirements and aid effective procurement project delivery
• Undertake a range of strategic day-to-day activities, from category management and negotiation to savings delivery and contract management

Public Procurement Consultant requirements…

• Demonstratable success around the end-to-end procurement function in relation to indirect procurement categories, such as Professional Services procurement, FM procurement, IT procurement and / or Marketing procurement
• Strong exposure to the public procurement space in relation to Public Contract Regulations (PCR)
• Skills surrounding strategic sourcing and stakeholder relationship management
