This global leading Pharmaceutical firm is seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join their dynamic team. Working within their established Procurement function, you will gain unparalleled exposure to a rapidly expanding market, and have the chance to work alongside key stakeholders.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing an area of direct spend. You will be pivotal in optimising procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost-saving initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and efficient sourcing of pharmaceutical products, contributing to the overall success of their operations. You will gain exposure across the business, meaning that you will have a chance to broaden your skillset, whilst developing your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet business objectives and ensure market competitiveness.
• Supplier Management: Manage supplier relationships to optimize quality, cost, delivery, and innovation.
• Cost Optimization: Drive cost-saving initiatives through effective negotiations and process improvements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align sourcing strategies with business needs and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in sourcing and procurement within the pharmaceutical industry, must be within an area of direct spend.
• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of successful supplier relationship management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
