Areas of responsibility
- People Management

- Manage a team of ~ 10 blue collars (mainly receiving & lift trucks operators)
- Encourage/Develop correct Safety behaviors & increase polyvalence of the teams
- Develop skills; create a positive and constructive team spirit, which allows the team to achieve objectives by gaining autonomy and proactivity in detecting and reporting encountered problems;

- Customer Satisfaction / Shipping
-
- Ensure quality & on time delivery of finished products within the legal fastening aspects & through existing standards (e.g. shipment, planning, labeling, and securing of reels).
- Participate in drafting specifications for negotiating transport contracts;
- Initiate preparation orders and oversees delivery preparation;
- Supervise the packing and shipment of finished products;
- Ensure proper availability of transportation means;
- Verify loadings and ensure that loadings are compliant and secured;

- Flow management / Warehouse stock management

- Supervise the receiving of incoming raw materials;
- Manage returnable packaging process (customer and supplier);
- Optimize storing areas (e.g. empty drums) to easily feed manufacturing lines;
- Guarantee the accuracy of all stock movements in SAP (ECC6);
- Lead quarterly inventory
- Manage the recycling of valuable wastes (Copper/Aluminum/...)

- Creation/Application of standards

- Apply/improve storing/distribution/shipments standards (in compliance with exceptional transport legislation)
- Apply incoming material storage requirements
- Audit processes and make gap analysis;

- Continuous Improvement

- Measure and track performance indicators within its scope;
- Ensure a dynamic of continuous improvement within the team and manage continuous improvement projects;
- Provide and explain initial elements of continuous improvement methods to its team (Program+ progress routes, 5 "Whys");

Qualification
- Master degree in logistics (or equivalent with a relevant experience);
- 3 years working experience in logistics within the industrial environment;
- Experience in team management;
- Ability and experience to work in a fast-paced international environment;
- Relevant experience working with SAP ECC6 and Microsoft Office;
- Good communication and co-operation skills;
- Fluent in French and English.
