My client is a globally recognized leader in the FMCG sector. Currently experiencing a dynamic phase of growth, they are eager to strengthen their indirect procurement team to support their ambitious future plans. Central to this initiative is their junior development program, designed to nurture emerging professionals in their procurement careers. They are looking for three Procurement Graduates/Procurement Assistants to join their team, offering opportunities for career advancement and contributing to their goal of achieving best-in-class status.

• Wide Project Exposure: This is a national procurement role, supporting the procurement process for their UK market. As such you will work on a wide range of projects, with the opportunity to move between categories should you choose.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting the end-to-end process - including strategic sourcing, tendering, contracting, negotiating, and supplier relationship management - across either their Soft Facilities or Consumables category.
• Engaging with a number of key internal and external stakeholders to understand the needs of the business and support the development of innovative procurement strategies to meet and grow customer demand.
• Leading negotiations with a number of key suppliers, striving to achieve key cost savings and commercial growth.

What is my client looking for?

• Strong exposure to end-to-end procurement, preferably within indirect procurement but this is not essential, including experience in negotiating and supplier relationship management.
• Good academic background, ideally have studied to degree level
