My client is an International recognised FMCG powerhouse. They are in a period of exciting growth and are keen to bolster their indirect procurement function to support their future development plans. At the centre sits their junior development programme supporting up-and-coming professionals in their journey to establishment themselves in the procurement market. They are seeking 3 Procurement Graduates/Procurement Assistants to join their team and progress within the company to support their push for best-in-class status.

Responsibilities:

Your role will be to support across an array of indirect procurement projects within their Facilities Management or Consumables team by:

• Engaging with a number of key internal and external stakeholders to understand the needs of the business and support the development of innovative procurement strategies to meet and grow customer demand.
• Leading negotiations with a number of key suppliers, striving to achieve key cost savings and commercial growth.
• Delivering on traditional end-to-end procurement activities - including strategic sourcing, tendering, contracting, and supplier relationship management

Requirements:

Whilst my client is keen to speak with junior procurement professionals with a passion to build their skillset and build a long-term career through progressing internally, this is NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION. The successful candidates should have good exposure to the procurement process, acquired through working on a range of end-to-end procurement projects. It is also ideal you have a strong academic background, having obtained a degree, but this is not essential.
