Company Description
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for order fulfillment for POS materials/event tools deliveries and placement, also supporting the order fulfillment and sales administrations for finished goods sold in Japan. (inbound/outbound and warehousing operations).
Job Description
Order Fulfillment and Internal Orders
Receive internal orders through system and proceed with completeness and accuracy.
Books orders into ERP (SAP/R3) system in a timely and accurate manner.
Arrange deliveries and manpower to the event site/shops as requested.
Must be familiar with items/tools and consult for each team to help good planning and placements.
Handle returns/withdrawals and give a direction for proper maintenance to 3PL.
Working closely with 3PL service provider to ensure proper and timely deliveries.
Others
Occasionally, visit event site to observe and instruct POS handling.
Registration in SAP master of new vendor, collaborating with sales team.
Coordinate with other department/team on any sales/delivery issues.
Report & share logistics issue with Logistics Manager on daily base, create agreement on actions toward each case.
Participate in ad-hoc testing for system integrity and/or automation projects.
Contribute to the ongoing effort of process improvement and standardization.
Qualifications
At least one year previous working experience in order administrations, sales administrations, customer service, or any other supply chain related roles.
Knowledge of ERP based order management and/or material/warehouse management application is desired, but not mandatory.
Good communication skills and analytical views on order/planning will be needed.
Able to multitask on daily operational responsibilities as well as project related work in a deadline driven environment.
Event logistics experiences will be a plus, but not mandatory.
Language: Japanese - native level, English - basic business level.
Education: Final degree (BA) in business administration or equivalent.
