About the Team:
You will be joining a well organised, established and autonomous site senior management team reporting directly into the plant manager. This team covers all aspects of plant management including Quality, HR, HSE, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations and Finance. As a team, they have a strong dynamic, working well together recognising each other strengths and guiding the plant to achieve its business targets, whilst engaging the workforce to be part of that achievement.

The plant itself forms part of the electronics and ADAS division of ZF with a portfolio covering Tier 1 automotive supply of latest technology, including cameras, radars, ECUs and more.

What you can look forward to as Logistics Manager:
  • Leading the on-site team covering the following key areas: Customer / Production Planning / Inbound Material Planning (Supplier)/ Logistics Operations
  • Ensuring that all customer schedules are received and converted into an achievable production plan and supplier schedules are clearly communicated and adhered to, escalating where appropriate as well as managing all on-site logistics functions
  • Liaising closely with your peers, along with supporting both divisional and group driven activities
  • Working on many varied projects with some examples including Inventory Reduction, Digitalisation, Consignment Introduction, you will lead these from a plant level with support of a cross divisional team
Your profile as Logistics Manager:
  • Degree level or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years of experience in similar role
  • SAP knowledge preferred but other MRP acceptable, MS Office, Data Analysis, Project Management
  • Supply Chain Knowledge and experience in a large fast paced manufacturing environment preferred
  • Develop and engage team, encouraging autonomy at all levels and lead as well as promote our ZF Way
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and delegate accordingly
  • A good communicator at all levels including stakeholder engagement
  • English language skills with 2nd language preferred but not essential
