We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager vacancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join us at a strategic level in a role that drives the business forwards through achieving and exceeding capital sales targets.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The role of Commercial Manager - Capital is responsible for overseeing and managing STERIS's Tenders and Customer Contracts / Price Agreements for all Capital, Surgical and Software products. This is a crucial role that combines both administrative excellence with Commercial acumen to support the sales of our products. You will be at the heart of the company's operation in helping the business reach its Capital sales targets working closely with Regional Sales Managers, Account Managers, Marketing, Sales Support Teams, Finance, Projects and RA/QA. The role also consists of maintaining excellent relationships with our Private Sector Customers and Key Accounts.

  • Acknowledge and respond to all Capital, Surgical and Software-related Tender and Pricing submissions
  • Management of the Private group and Key Accounts alongside other Commercial Managers.
  • Liaise with the wider Commercial team on the submission of Tenders/Contracts to ensure a joined up approach and consistency across STERIS's Healthcare business
  • Produce Complete financial analyses of business cases/deals to enable the development of profitable, competitive tenders and price proposals.
  • Maintain and update all pricing for Capital, Surgical and Software products and ensure systems and reference points are controlled and managed.
  • Support the in-field sales team by visiting customers and key accounts on-site to support bids/presentations to win new business.
  • Work in collaboration with the Sales team on keeping our sales pipeline and forecast updated.
  • Liaise with the projects team on delivery of complex solutions and how we can meet customer needs.
  • Act as a central point of contact for internal teams in relation to Commercial aspects of any Capital, Surgical and Software products and become the voice of the Customer upwards within marketing.
Education Degree

Required Experience

  1. Experience working in a contract/tender administration role
  1. Knowledge of the UK Healthcare market and Public Sector procurement
  2. Customer-facing experience in a Commercial/Sales team
  3. Experience working in Capital medical device sales
  4. Problem solving and can-do mindset
  5. Exposure to marketing practices within a Healthcare setting
