This is a really exciting time to join a well-respected Procurement team who are helping to deliver Royal London's strategic outcomes and ambitions across a number of major change programmes, driving the maximum commercial value from our partner relationships and new procurement opportunities.
As a Procurement Manager, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of Business Services' sourcing activities to drive the fullest commercial value. Working with cross-functional business units to build productive business relationships and influencing the 3rd party supplier profile. You will be accountable to the respective Category Managers and key stakeholders for implementing best in class procurement business wide.

About the role
- Procurement lead for Royal London strategic business services' projects including end-to-end tendering process, contract, and price negotiations.
- Support and insight to category managers on effective category management, seeking opportunities to improve ways of working for the benefit of the business.
- On-going pro-active review of existing category arrangements in collaboration with category business executives and owners to ensure full compliance and commercial advantage.
- Ensure that the relevant key business stakeholders adhere to the Supplier Management Framework.
- Lead negotiator to contracts and sourcing arrangements up to £1m in value.
- Proven ability to achieve substantial cost savings.
- Graduate calibre or relevant professional qualification desirable, e.g., CIPS.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with a range of audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and capability to see, assess and mitigate commercial risks.
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex numerical data and present with clarity and simplicity.
- Marketing and Professional Services experience desired.
