We seek for "Supply Chain Manager" who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in Power Transformer Factory in Kartal location with below qualifications. Reporting to CIL, your skills and technical expertise will contribute to continuous improvement journey
Your Responsibilities:
• Negotiate agreements with main suppliers and periodically renews price lists, terms and conditions.
• Ensures identification, investigation, and selection of appropriate suppliers (focusing on quality, delivery, cost and sustainability) in accordance with the Company policies. Defines and establishes local standard agreements with all major suppliers. Provides and maintains standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with Company directives and guidelines.
• On-boards new suppliers in close collaboration with the respective local buyer and runs regular supplier evaluations and provides supplier reports to Businesses and Category Managers.
• Runs benchmark studies for the category team and for specific sourcing initiatives and designs and implements cost-out programs and/or processes to reach financial targets.
• Creates local contract amendments to frame agreements on behalf of Operation and updates/maintains frame contracts. Also adapts corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommends frame agreements to management and executes upon approval. Provides ongoing oversight and contract management with suppliers.
• Actively identifies and mitigates risks associated to the contractual framework used on the projects. Promotes a risk management culture by participating actively and initiating Contractor's Risk reviews for identified projects.
• Supports regional/global sourcing initiatives within a defined set of categories, working closely with key stakeholders to implement regional category strategies.
• Contribute to and participates in setting and implementing budget and targets within the framework. Ensures the Category sourcing performance targets are achieved.
• Tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending and savings forecasts. Minimizes risk regarding quality and financial exposure by buying in accordance with quality and commercial procedures and in accordance with company guidelines.
• Fosters communication internally (Sales/Tender, Engineering, Planning, Production and others), externally and supports the implementation of SCM activities and initiatives in the Region/HUB/Country through this clear communication.
• Manage local or HUB allocated other direct spend (none categorized spend) in accordance to PG/BU "
• Support and Implement the HUB sourcing strategy in the factory by providing input (complementing P&F) to factory requirements to the RFx and margin improvement processes. Participate by delegation in supplier negotiation if required.
• Own factory cost savings, cost avoidance, claim recovery reporting and SCM performance tracking according to PG/BU requirements.
• Lead company qualification for none categorized or assigned or assigned spend. Conduct Supplier Performance Evaluations (SPE) for the HUB identified suppliers and for none categorized spend selected suppliers.
• Lead on assigned and all local managed suppliers for claim management to maximize compensation to Hitachi Energy and escalate as necessary.
• Execute on SCM related local activities for R&D, DTV, New Product Introduction, product cost improvement project.
Your Background:
• A bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Economics or Supply Chain Management or relevant experience.
• Very good commend of written and spoken English.
• Strong communicative and collaborative skills.
• Knowledge of MRP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office Applications.
• Experience working in matrix organizations (hierarchical reporting and functional reporting)
• Excellent negotiation skill.
• Well versed on MS tools - Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Power BI, etc.
• Compliance and ethics oriented.
