About the Role: In this pivotal role, you will manage a talented team of procurement professionals, oversee strategic procurement activities, and lead the IT procurement category with a hands on, autonomous approach. IT Procurement Manager, Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee procurement activities for IT and indirect categories, ensuring they align with the organization's mission to support healthcare providers.
  • Develop and implement innovative procurement strategies that drive efficiency, cost savings, and value for both public and private sector healthcare organisations.
  • Manage supplier relationships, lead negotiations, and oversee contract management to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • For relevant customers, ensure strict compliance with public sector procurement regulations, including PCR 2015 and OJEU requirements.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand healthcare needs and provide procurement solutions that enhance service delivery.
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in managing and developing procurement teams, with a strong focus on leadership.
  • Extensive experience in public sector procurement, with deep knowledge of PCR 2015, OJEU, and related regulations.
  • Broad experience in indirect procurement, with the ability to apply your skills across IT and other essential categories.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a collaborative and strategic approach.
  • A proactive mindset with strong analytical skills, capable of driving process improvements and delivering measurable results.
