What this job involves:

Managing sourcing activities

Easing the path for the country team's procurement activities will be your main concern. You'll assist in drafting requirements for bidding and conduct various sourcing references-including requests for information, proposals and quotations. You'll also draw up contracts and find opportunities to drive costs down. You'll also be expected to always be ready in the face of any pricing issues that may arise. On top of these, you'll lend support to our solutions department team, so part of your strategic plan should be to get the best pricing that's in line with their tenders.

Are you adept in monitoring, extracting and generating reports? In this role, you'll handle the spend data in the ERP system and benchmark reports. You'll also carry out scheduled audits to ensure that both contract and insurance requirements are met. To excel in this role, you'll also take part in growing the business by actively participating in tender/pricing activities. You'll work closely with Corporate S&P team to conduct price benchmarking and broadcasting the reports to the larger procurement team.

Finding the right partners and keeping them

You should have an eye for vendors who can deliver on time and live up to our quality standards-at the right price. A strong relationship based on trust pays off with great dividends, that's why building lasting relationships with the right vendors and suppliers should be second nature to you. You'll also spend a lot of time keeping track of their performance to make sure that we partner with only the best ones and support them in the operational challenges as and when required.

In addition, you'll also help the S&P leadership to maintain, analyze the pan India vendor database and provide inputs to strategize the consolidation towards active vendor database to drive business through strategic partners.

Also part of your mandate is to support our supply chain management team by developing and looking after vendor management programmes, ensuring seamless negotiation processes and promoting effective project coordination. You'll also see to it that contracting, transition and information updates are well in place.

Engaging with Stakeholder and the Business

This role gives high visibility and opportunities to engage with the different stakeholders within and outside of our organization. Building the rapport, excellent communication and interpersonal skills is key to success in this role. With relevant knowledge in the domain of sourcing & procurement and experience, you will be an SME providing procurement advice and guidance to stakeholders, collaborates with procurement colleagues across the wider corporate procurement team to deliver value to our internal and occasionally external clients

Task-oriented responsibilities will include:

  • Delivers financial targets in line with business expectations. Continuously drives the S&P opportunity agenda. Identifies, agrees with the stakeholders and executes these projects.
  • Actively support RFP's, performs bid analysis, contract negotiation and prepares recommendations towards solutioning.
  • Liaises with internal stakeholders for and be a SPOC for
  • GST compliance GST compliance and hence strategize to work closely with finance Deptt.
  • Updating, making necessary changes and uploading the wages notification data sheet (salary master) as per the latest statutory notifications and hence work closely with the compliance team contract approvals
  • addressing Grievances of vendors related to invoices through vendor portal
  • Ensures compliance with relevant regulations, JLL policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
  • Manages supplier relationship and performance.
  • Supports the use of e-procurement application, system and methodologies.
  • Supports to prepare high quality papers, presentations and reports for use with internal and external stakeholders.

An experienced professional

Are you a degree holder with 6 to 8 years' experience in sourcing and procurement? Do you have good knowledge of Sourcing & Procurement, Project Management, Professional Service and tail end spend categories? Are you a stickler for key business goals and results? Do you put customer satisfaction at the forefront? If you said yes to all these, we're more than happy to work with you.

An effective communicator

You'll be teaming up with people across various departments, so a good command of spoken and written English -coupled with superior people skills-will be indispensable in this role. You should also be proficient in all MS applications to land this job.

Do you have strong numeracy, technology and analytical skills

To succeed in this role, you should be able to analyze and work with numbers to derive at the best cost model and solution to meet Business requirements and objectives. Having experience of working on an ERP system, spend management tool and technology platforms would be desirable.
