Procurement Partner (Senior Procurement Officer/Procurement Manager)

Contract: 6 Month contract (Chance of extention)

Salary: Grade 6/7

Location: Remote - Ad-hoc visits to London

We are working with a NHS function to recruit an experienced procurement professional with a background in clinical products. The role will be focused on sourcing and accessing new suppliers for a number of clinical categories. This is a new function and offers an exciting opportunity to work on a new approach.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying requirement of the project with internal stateholders.
• Assessing most appropriate procurement process to be used, developing the tendering documentation, and assessing suppliers.
• Managing procurement process.
• Negotiatiating contracts and managing through to signiture.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience of public sector procurement.
• Knowledge of clinical product ranges.
• Strong project management skills.
• Solid, experienced procurement professional, who is self sufficient and a self starter.
