About the role
As Procurement Business Partner you will drive the delivery of our procurement services with responsibility for ad-hoc purchasing of goods and services across the organisation. You will work in partnership with colleagues providing expertise and insight to support our teams with procurements, ensuring value for money and efficiency in all our procedures and processes. You will manage relationships with suppliers and support contract managers to achieve compliance and effective monitoring of contract performance.
What we’re looking for
You will be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service to both our internal and external customers. Collaborating with colleagues across the organisation and our contracting partners will be a key part of your role, so you will need to be experienced in building strong working relationships and be a confident and adept communicator.
In this role managing your own tasks is essential so you must be comfortable dealing with competing priorities and delivering results to tight deadlines. You’ll take a proactive approach to identifying and highlighting opportunities for continuous improvement and ways in which we can enhance our processes and delivery. With a proven track record working in a Procurement role and ideally CIPS qualified, you will bring experience in tendering and managing contracts at all levels and through various routes. Your background in supporting contract managers and your experience in drafting and reviewing contract specifications will also be vital.
