Job Description

Family Description

Supply (SU) covers the configuration, demand, and supply planning, order management, sourcing, production, delivery, and managing the procurement activities towards our suppliers.

Subfamily Description

Procurement (PRO) associates with specifying procurement demands, selecting and contracting suppliers, maintaining the relationship to a supplier, and managing the lifecycle; including supplier performance, risk, and phase-out for all suppliers for direct material, services, and indirect material.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance the supply chain resilience with risk management and diversification programs
  • Responsible for the supplier base management and supplier performance within the assigned global categories (E.g Aluminum Castings, RF Filters)
  • Accountability for implementing the category and supplier strategy with stakeholders and cross-functional team in order to meet the procurement deliverables
  • Build and drive your internal and external stakeholder network - from Suppliers over Category group teams to Product Management, R&D and beyond
  • Strategically interfacing towards supplier building strong and strategic supplier relationships
  • Ensure Execution Excellence is in everything we do - from following compliance and internal/external standards to striving for continuous improvement by putting the customer first and doing it right the first time
Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' relevant experience in procurement and category management (e.g Castings, Filters)
  • Excellent market information analysis skills and supply market knowledge (materials, suppliers, key commodity drivers, etc...)
  • Strong negotiation skills, Supplier contracting skills
  • Cost analysis and management
  • Project management skills, ability to drive and guide projects
  • Internal stakeholder management/supplier relationship
  • Ability to make decision in a complex and ambiguous environment & think strategically

It would be nice if you also had:
  • Influencing others/working across boundaries, ability to lead without formal power and line authority in case needed.
  • Exposure / experience in Telecom or IT industry area or relevant Engineering Industry is preferred
  • Fluent command of English language. 1-2 additional languages are favorable
  • Excellent presentation, networking and communication skills (especially in a multicultural environment). High energy, initiative, enthusiasm and persistence. Sound methodical skills with attention to detail and process requirements.
  • Strong industry knowledge including products and services on Nokia's core business as well as adjacent areas (e.g. Telco IT, applications, big data analytics)
  • Business orientation and good understanding of Nokia organization and processes
