What you doResponsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Coordinate & assist procurement activities in Allianz Partners Health Line of Business
  • Support Health Global COO, based in Dublin, on all procurement topics
  • Implement best procurement practices and standards (including compliance and regulatory components) in Allianz Partners to include but not limited to
  • Ensure vendors are onboarded correctly and fulfil Allainz Standards
  • Assist colleagues with Procurement queries, training and procedure development
  • Manage the Supplier database ensuring accurate information is maintained
  • First line approval of PR's, blocking of vendors. PR's where not compliant etc.
  • Assist in developing a network of service providers along all lines of business, covering non-core business procurement categories and indirect procurement categories (e.g. professional services, Facilities, marketing & communication)
  • Assist Group and Local level with projects to leverage Allianz Partners global and regional purchasing power.
  • Support innovation, solution design and roll out of same
  • Implement strategic sourcing at local level
  • Manage providers at local and international level
  • Be responsible for all procurement tasks in our Health business
  • Support global & strategic procurement initiatives across Allianz Partners business units
What you bring
  • Fluent in English, a second language is a plus
  • 3rd level qualification in business, purchasing, or relevant work experience in Procurement related activities
  • Some experience in Project management, migration of vendors etc is desirable
  • Legally permitted to work in the country of operations
  • Ability to communicate at all levels across the business.
  • Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and research skills

Reporting Line The position reports functionally to Global Head of Procurement and as functional manager Global Health COO in Allianz Partners.
