Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)
Salary: £45,000-£55,000

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead comprehensive IT procurement processes from initial needs assessment to final contract negotiations, ensuring the acquisition of top-tier technology solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Supplier Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key IT suppliers, driving negotiations to secure competitive contracts and ensuring superior service delivery.
- Cost Optimization: Identify and implement strategic cost-saving opportunities, manage procurement budgets effectively, and drive ongoing process improvements to maximize value.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all IT procurement activities adhere to public sector regulations and industry standards, while proactively managing risks to safeguard the organization.
What You Bring:
- End-to-End IT Procurement Expertise: Extensive experience managing the full IT procurement lifecycle, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects that meet both cost-efficiency and quality benchmarks.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Public Sector Acumen: In-depth knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and processes, with a history of navigating and succeeding within the unique complexities of public sector environments.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute strategic procurement plans that drive innovation and add value across the organization.
