We are working with a growing SME organisation to recruit an experienced Buyer with a background in materials procurement.

• You will be responsible for sourcing materials, and negotiating pricing and delivery.
• Working internally to identify the specification and delivery requirements and secure the products required, right price, on time.
• Identifying cost saving opportunities, and managing this through the business.
• You will manage ongoing relationships with suppliers, monitoring and ensuring high performance.
• There will also be some involvement in indirect services, capex and MRO product.

Requirements:

• Procurement experience, with an understanding of materials sourcing and inventory/supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of identifying and delivering savings.
• Strong communication skills, and ability to liaise cross functionally, internally and externally.
• Strong organisation and project management skills.
