Permanent Contract
We are working with a growing SME organisation to recruit an experienced Buyer with a background in materials procurement.
- You will be responsible for sourcing materials, and negotiating pricing and delivery.
- Working internally to identify the specification and delivery requirements and secure the products required, right price, on time.
- Identifying cost saving opportunities, and managing this through the business.
- You will manage ongoing relationships with suppliers, monitoring and ensuring high performance.
- There will also be some involvement in indirect services, capex and MRO product.
Requirements:
- Procurement experience, with an understanding of materials sourcing and inventory/supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills and a track record of identifying and delivering savings.
- Strong communication skills, and ability to liaise cross functionally, internally and externally.
- Strong organisation and project management skills.
