This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to lead a small central team, supporting colleagues across the organisation in commissioning services, letting and managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with new legislation. Your expert contribution will enhance how the organisation manages these key activities, with a focus on achieving value for money, reducing risk and ensuring high performing provision of services, that are tailored to our community’s needs. You’ll help to foster better understanding of what good practice looks like, and how well managed procurement and contract management can add real value to our work.

It's an opportunity that will suit someone who is CIPS qualified and who can apply a pragmatic, outcomes-focused approach to working with colleagues, promoting the joint benefits of compliance, commerciality and enhanced outcomes, while demystifying and simplifying the process for those with limited technical knowledge of procurement. You’ll work to ensure that, as an organisation, we engage effectively with the market and adopt a collaborative and transparent approach to designing and evaluating the services that will make the most difference to our customers.
