Senior Procurement Manager - FTSE100 FMCG
Salary: £70,000-£80,000 + bonus and package
Location: Hybrid options with offices Nationwide (London, Birmingham, Manchester, and more)
This prestigious £Multi-Billion FTSE-100 FMCG firm is enjoying continued success and is frequently re-investing in its award-winning procurement function. Due to a CIPS-recognised transformation, they are constantly innovating and pushing forward procurement to remain at the forefront of the industry. As part of this transformation, they are expanding the procurement team with a £3 billion investment over the next three years.
They now seek a Senior Procurement Manager to lead logistics spend categories, covering fleet, freight, warehousing, automation and more, but will consider a strong indirect generalist from any complex services category background. You will join the team at a critical time, focusing on strategic development of ESG agendas, digitalisation, and commercial value. As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will spearhead multiple sourcing projects within your assigned logistics spend categories, aiming to accelerate this FMCG Giant's transformation period. Your role will involve more than just traditional tendering; it's about building negotiation strategies with partners to maximise their performance and commercial value.
There's great engagement from the CxO and Exec level, offering a significant opportunity to grow your career and achieve substantial accomplishments. The procurement team is undergoing a commercial reset/transformation, combining SRM processes and responsibilities with procurement focusing on sustainability and other strategic initiatives.
