Head of Contract & Supplier Relationship Management - NHS & Public Sector

Salary: £80,000 + car allowance + competitive package

Location: UK Remote with travel (Presence in the North of England preferable)

A global leader in technological and professional services is looking for an experienced Head of Contract & Supplier Relationship Management to develop and drive its contract and supplier management strategy within the NHS and wider public sector division.

This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity for the successful candidate to build and shape a vital function from the ground up, ensuring long-term success and innovation across the organisation's procurement operations.

Role Overview

As the Head of Contract & Supplier Relationship Management, this senior-level position will involve crafting and overseeing strategies that drive growth, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with public procurement regulations. The role is pivotal in establishing best-in-class contract and supplier management practices to achieve ambitious organisational goals, working closely with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery and efficiency for public sector clients, including the NHS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of contract and supplier relationship management strategies across the NHS and public sector categories.
  • Establish a robust framework management approach to maximise commercial benefits and ensure compliance.
  • Innovate and drive continuous improvement, leveraging data and technology to enhance procurement outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to build strong, effective relationships.
  • Act as a senior member of the Procurement Solutions Leadership Team, contributing to the overall business strategy.
